HS-Coordinator
FLC is continuously hiring staff for the HS department and is currently looking for HS coordinators.
This is an exciting and developing HS-coordinator position - where you in the construction process will contribute to compliance with applicable laws and regulations within the work environment, support the construction management, be responsible for the HS-coordination in your area, and be available on the construction site.
You will have the opportunity to use your knowledge and experience to ensure efficient and successful project implementation, together with the project team with a focus on the working environment, time, quality, and finances.
Who is FLC?
Femern Link Contractors, FLC, is the joint venture responsible for the design and construction of Northern Europe’s biggest construction project resulting in the longest immersed tunnel in the world. Our joint venture consists of nine international construction companies with individual experience in large infrastructure projects. Together, we are committed to working together to deliver a state-of-the-art immersed tunnel, portals, and ramps, delivered on time and safely, in a sustainable and ethical manner.
Main responsibilities (but not limited to):
- Attend/lead daily coordination meetings
- Perform safety inspections on site
- Attend/lead inspections and visits from authorities
- Attend/lead safety meetings, such as pre-start and start-up meetings
- Review Method Statements and Risk Assessments
- Take over documentation from the Design Coordinator P and secure mitigation of residual risks
- Manage and update relevant HS documentation, such as the HS plan
- Participate in accident/incident investigations
- Organize and execute emergency drills
- Participate in planning and executing Safety campaigns
- Contact to contractors and other relevant parties
Qualifications/Experience:
- You are today an experienced and skilled HS professional and are well prepared for such a task – both in theory and practice.
You have documented experience from one or more construction projects with the working environment in focus.
- You are a robust, competent, flexible, and self-driven profile that can naturally take the lead and set the course.
- You have the commitment and the will to create results, combined with qualities such as overview and team unity.
- You also have good communication and negotiation skills, and command English in writing and speaking. Other languages like Danish, Polish, Spanish, or German are an advantage.
