We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as Quality Control Inspector for the marine activities. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the external control of our project and maintaining quality standards according to the project IMS System and quality plan bbjectives.

Who is FLC?

Femern Link Contractors, FLC, is the joint venture responsible for the design and construction of the immersed tunnel, tunnel portals, and ramps. Our joint venture consists of nine international construction companies with individual experience in large infrastructure projects.

Together, we are committed to working together to deliver a state-of-the-art immersed tunnel, portals, and ramps, delivered on time and safely, in a sustainable and ethical manner.

Main responsibilities:

  • Ensure the correct implementation of inspection and test plans (ITP) on site, including the filling and signing of execution tracing files (ETF).
  • Supervise and oversee laboratory tests related to materials placed at sea for earthworks.
  • Check and ensure that survey reports are completed on time.
  • Open Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) in case of any deviations.
  • Carry out spot checks on the calibration of equipment used for works.
  • Conduct random inspections to verify the correct implementation of ITPs by the marine team on site.
  • Participate in workplace and health and safety inspections.
  • Liaise with the owner's representative during site inspections.

Personal qualifications:

  • A degree in Civil Engineering.
  • +3 years’ experience as a Quality Inspector on a construction site. Previous experience from marine activities is a plus.
  • Good interpersonal, and organization skills and the ability to work independently is essential.
  • Ability to manage the relationship with key stakeholders.
  • Flexibility to quickly adapt to different situations.
  • Good technical understanding and curiosity.
  • Experience in problem solving and managing stressful situations.
  • High standard of written and spoken English.
