We are seeking an Electrical engineer for the TE systems who will be responsible for the execution and documentation of the testing plan regarding the electrical systems in the Tunnel Elements.
Who is FLC?
Femern Link Contractors (FLC) is a dynamic joint venture responsible for the design and construction of the world's longest immersed tunnel and the longest tunnel for both road and rail traffic. Our joint venture consists of nine internationally renowned construction companies, each bringing valuable experience in large infrastructure projects.
The TE systems are part of the scope of the Marine team as temporary measures to facilitate the immersion of the elements.
Job tasks:
To be able to float up, move and immerse the Tunnel Elements, the elements require temporary installations. These installations ensure that the elements float, stay balanced, immerse and can connect to the preceding element. The Electrical engineer will ensure the execution of the testing plan and documentation of the results. There will be interface with Site engineer Automation and the Immersion Pontoon. Furthermore, you will:
- Test the installations in line with the testing plan.
- Document the results in Dalux.
- Run IO test, function test and commissioning of equipment.
- Do inspection and verification of the installation of Field instruments, tubing, instrument bracketry glanding and wiring.
Personal skills and experience:
- Working with Dalux or similar program.
- Testing electrical installations.
- Competent in reading and reviewing on P&IDs (piping and instrumentation diagrams), loop diagrams, installation details, layout drawings, schematics generally and cable schedules.
- Familiar with functionality and theory of test equipment.
- Awareness of and experience in using instrumentation tracking software & calibration programs.
- Familiarity and experience of using field test equipment.
- Understanding of and experience in working near live plant.
- Proficient in the use of MS Office, document control platforms also well versed in the use of PLC and SCADA HMI's.
- Work in a structured manner prioritizing quality over speed.
- Willing to do an offshore course to be able to work on water.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English is a requirement.
