For the Femernbelt Fixed Link project, which is Northern Europe’s biggest construction project resulting in the longest immersed tunnel in the world, we are looking for a self-motivated draftsman/draftswoman to support our highly motivated Marine Team.

As our new draftsman/draftswoman you will form part of a multidisciplinary engineering team with many different and exciting work tasks.

To be successful in this position, you should be up-to-date with new drafting software as well as demonstrate attention to detail and understanding of the discipline you draft for. 

You will be part of the Marine Work Preparation team in a professional and dynamic work environment. The position will offer you great possibilities of personal and professional development.

Main responsibilities:

  • Production of drawings related to works preparation for the various marine activities, including construction of jetties, installation of gravelbed foundation, immersion of tunnel elements, and placement of rock armour protection layers
  • Preparation of preliminary concept sketches, sequence drawings, detailed drawings and models 2D/3D in different CAD software.
  • Ensure coordination with Design and Execution teams.
  • Communication with Work Preparation/Method Engineers, and incorporating knowledge gained into drawings.
  • Preparing, reviewing, and redrafting alongside the engineering team.
  • Identify and communicate potential problems to the rest of the team.
  • Work according to FLC procedures, using FLC document templates and FLC document control system (Think Project)
  • Verification of consistency of the various documents produced.

Qualifications:

  • Technical designer or Civil Engineer with good abilities in digital drawing and modelling,
  • Experience in construction sector, preferably with Contractor and/or on large construction sites.
  • Min. 2 years experience in computer-aided drafting.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Good knowledge of Civil 3D, AutoCad and Revit.
  • Knowledge of other drawing and/or modelling software packages (Bentley, OpenRoads, Tekla, Inventor, NavisWorks, Synchro, etc.) will be appreciated
  • Knowledge of BIM360 will be appreciated.
  • Understanding of challenges when converting and combining different file formats is an advantage.

Personal skills:

  • Proactive, well-structured, and organised. Good at quality control of own work.
  • Engaged and responsible, with ability to work well in a team and on your own, with proper communication and reporting skills.
  • Able to give and receive feedback in a positive way.

Conditions of employment:
