For the offshore activities in FLC Marine, we are looking for skilled and dedicated Logistic Supervisor.

The Logistic Supervisor oversees and coordinates all aspects of logistics operations to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and timely delivery of goods. This position involves supervising a team of logistics personnel, managing inventory, optimizing transportation routes, and liaising with suppliers and customers to meet organizational objectives.

Who is FLC?

Femern Link Contractors, FLC, is the joint venture responsible for the design and construction of the Northern Europe’s biggest construction project resulting in the longest immersed tunnel in the world. Our joint venture consists of nine international construction companies with individual experience in large infrastructure projects. Together, we are committed to working together to deliver a state-of-the-art immersed tunnel, portals and ramps, delivered on time and safely, in a sustainable and ethical manner.

Main responsibilities (but not limited to):

1. Team Supervision:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of logistics personnel, including warehouse staff, drivers, and administrative staff.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and training to ensure team members perform their duties effectively and adhere to safety protocols and company policies.

2. Inventory Management:

  • Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods, materials, and supplies, ensuring accurate inventory records and timely replenishment.
  • Implement inventory control measures to minimize stockouts, overstock situations, and shrinkage, while optimizing inventory levels to meet customer demand and minimize carrying costs.

3. Transportation Coordination:

  • Coordinate transportation activities, including scheduling deliveries, dispatching vehicles, and optimizing routes to minimize fuel consumption, transportation costs, and delivery times.
  • Monitor vehicle maintenance schedules, fuel consumption, and driver performance to ensure compliance with safety regulations and maximize fleet efficiency.

4. Supplier and Customer Liaison:

  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve any issues or discrepancies related to orders, deliveries, or quality.
  • Communicate with customers to understand their logistics requirements, address inquiries or concerns, and provide updates on shipment status and delivery schedules.

5. Process Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements in logistics operations, such as implementing new technologies, streamlining workflows, and optimizing resource utilization.
  • Analyze logistics data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends, assess performance, and develop strategies for continuous improvement and cost optimization.

6. Compliance and Documentation:

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies related to logistics, transportation, and warehouse operations.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to shipments, inventory, vehicle maintenance, and other logistics activities, ensuring documentation is complete and up-to-date.

Qualifications / Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in logistics operations, preferably in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team of logistics professionals.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and a focus on process improvement.
  • Proficiency in logistics management software, inventory management systems, and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and customers.
  • Knowledge of transportation regulations, inventory control principles, and best practices in logistics and supply chain management.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize logistics operations.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction in all aspects of logistics management.
