Are you ready to take on a challenging role and play a vital part in the construction of the Femern belt tunnel? We are seeking a dedicated Logistic Supervisor to join our team of professionals. As a Logistic Supervisor, you will have the responsibility of overseeing daily logistic operations and ensuring the successful delivery of materials to the tunnel production site.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage a team of approximately 35 people, including truck drivers, HIAB drivers, loader operators, crane operators, and riggers
- Plan and prioritize daily logistic tasks for the team
- Coordinate with subcontractors and monitor their tasks
- Create long and short term plans for various logistics-related activities
- Manage team headcount and assist with hiring process
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and conduct regular toolbox talks
- Act as Appointed Person for lifting operations
Qualifications and Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Several years of experience in personnel management
- Knowledge of craning and rigger operations
- Understanding of lashing techniques
- Familiarity with relevant standards and regulations
- Good command of Polish and English languages
- Basic IT skills (Microsoft Office)
- The ability to train and mentor team members
- Willingness to work in a rotation schedule (4 weeks on day/night followed by 2 weeks off)
Additional Skills (Desirable)
- Knowledge of ship mooring operations
- Experience with IT systems
- Expertise in team planning and supervision
- Understanding of administrative procedures
