Join our team as a Service-Minded Receptionist!
We are Femern Link Contractors (FLC), a consortium of 9 partners working on the Femern Belt Link, the largest construction project in Northern Europe. As we make history by building the world's longest immersed tunnel, we are looking for a service-minded receptionist to join our Village team and help keep the engine room running on an exciting and vibrant day.
About Us:
FLC Village is where our tunnel construction staff stays during the project. With 1344 rooms available, FLC Village is the largest hotel operation in Denmark. We strive to create a welcoming and enjoyable environment for our employees, offering a range of leisure activities such as a fitness room, TV room, and gaming facilities. We also work with local associations to provide additional facilities for our employees.
Your Tasks:
- Check-in and check-out of employees and suppliers, allocation of rooms, and reporting of rooms needing maintenance
- Quality assurance of ordered services such as canteen operation and cleaning
- Handling queries from employees and subcontractors, in person, by email, and by phone
- Light translation tasks from English to Polish and vice versa
- Ordering and coordinating craftsmen and other subcontractors
- Planning events for resident staff
- Hosting Village inductions in Polish
- Participating and providing translations in disciplinary meetings
- Ensuring effective communication with colleagues and employees residing in FLC Village
About You:
To thrive in this role, we expect you to have:
- Education or significant experience in the hotel/hospitality industry
- A service-minded and professional approach to guests and colleagues
- Flexibility, open-mindedness, and problem-solving skills
- A proactive attitude, initiative, and high energy levels
- Availability to work evenings and weekends
- Knowledge or experience with the Picasso hotel system (advantageous)
- Good physical condition, as the role involves active tasks
- A happy, positive, and open personality with an easy smile and a great sense of humor
- Fluency in written and spoken English and Polish
- Knowledge of other Eastern European languages (advantageous)
Terms of Employment:
You will be employed according to the civil servant law, with benefits including pension, health insurance, and a lunch agreement.
