We are seeking a Site engineer for the TE systems who will be responsible for supporting the production teams outside and ensuring proper documentation and verification.
Who is FLC?
Femern Link Contractors (FLC) is a dynamic joint venture responsible for the design and construction of the world's longest immersed tunnel and the longest tunnel for both road and rail traffic. Our joint venture consists of nine internationally renowned construction companies, each bringing valuable experience in large infrastructure projects.
The TE systems are part of the scope of the Marine team as temporary measures to facilitate the immersion of the elements.
Job tasks:
To be able to float up, move and immerse the Tunnel Elements, the elements require temporary installations. These installations ensure that the elements float, stay balanced, immerse and can connect to the preceding element. the Site engineer Support Production to assist the production team and to document and verify the activities that are executed. There will be interface with several Supervisors, work preparation of the outfitting and subcontractors. The role is land-based. Furthermore, you will:
- Prepare work method statements.
- Create inspection and test plans.
- Provide information and organizational support to supervisors.
- Coordinate with subcontractors regarding activities and documentation.
- Document executed activities in Dalux.
- Verify and validate contract requirements.
Personal skills and experience:
- Working with BIM (Vitus).
- Working with Dalux.
- Experience in work preparation.
- Good organizational skills.
- Enjoy coordinating with multiple parties involved.
- Willing to work in shifts and at irregular hours.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English is a requirement.
