We are seeking a Supervisor for the TE systems who will be responsible for the safety and the correctness of the temporary electrical installations inside the tunnel elements in line with both Danish and Marine Law.
Who is FLC?
Femern Link Contractors (FLC) is a dynamic joint venture responsible for the design and construction of the world's longest immersed tunnel and the longest tunnel for both road and rail traffic. Our joint venture consists of nine internationally renowned construction companies, each bringing valuable experience in large infrastructure projects.
The TE systems are part of the scope of the Marine team as temporary measures to facilitate the immersion of the elements.
Job tasks:
To be able to float up, move and immerse the Tunnel Elements, the elements require temporary installations. These installations ensure that the elements float, stay balanced, immerse and can connect to the preceding element. The Supervisor shall schedule the electricians, ensure safe and correct electrical installation and provide input for testing plans and work methods. After installation of the electrical systems, they will undergo a week of testing. During this week, the Supervisor must supervise the electrical engineers and ensure progress and safety according to protocol. There will be interfaces with the outfitting team, Site Engineer Automation, the Supervisors STE Installations, SPE Installations, and Demobilisation, which the Supervisor Electrical Systems & Testing must coordinate The role is land-based. Furthermore, you will:
- Supervise a team of electricians and electrical testing engineers.
- Schedule work and employees on short term basis.
- Supervise testing of all electrical installations.
- Responsible for the safety and correctness of all electrical installations.
- Execute the commissioning of all electrical installations.
- Review designs of all electrical installations.
- Procure small materials.
- Provide input for testing plans, demobilization plans and work methods.
Personal skills and experience:
- Commissioning large electrical installations.
- Writing test plans.
- Supervising a team.
- Knowledge of both Danish and Marine Law (DNV-LG norm) regarding electrical installations.
- Certified to approve and commission electrical installations (el-installatør).
- Willing to work weekends every now and then.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English is a requirement.
