We are seeking a Supervisor for the TE systems who will be responsible for Safeguarding progress of the installation of temporary mechanical systems inside Special Tunnel Elements (SPE) by scheduling and supervising a team of labour force of mechanics, riggers and electricians.

Who is FLC?

Femern Link Contractors (FLC) is a dynamic joint venture responsible for the design and construction of the world's longest immersed tunnel and the longest tunnel for both road and rail traffic. Our joint venture consists of nine internationally renowned construction companies, each bringing valuable experience in large infrastructure projects.

The TE systems are part of the scope of the Marine team as temporary measures to facilitate the immersion of the elements.

Job tasks:

To be able to float up, move and immerse the Tunnel Elements, the elements require temporary installations. These installations ensure that the elements float, stay balanced, immerse and can connect to the preceding element. The Supervisor for SPE Installations must plan and supervise the activities and ensure progress. There will be interfaces with the outfitting team and the Supervisor for electrical system and testing, which the Supervisor SPE Installations must coordinate. The role is land-based. Furthermore, you will:

  • Manage a team of labour, mechanics, riggers and electricians.
  • Schedule work and employees on short term basis.
  • Coordinate interface with, among others, the outfitting team.
  • Coordinate and direct subcontractors.
  • Procure small materials and equipment.
  • Provide input for work method statements and risk analysis.
  • Safeguard progress according to scheduling.
  • Have on-call service shifts.

Personal skills and experience:

  • Supervising employees.
  • Experience with installations in question, namely hydraulic, bilge and ballast systems.
  • Knowledge of both Danish law and Marine law (DNV-LG norm) regarding installations.
  • Possessing a can-do mentality and is solution oriented about challenges that may appear in the work.
  • Willing to work in shifts and at irregular hours
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English is a requirement.
