About FLC:
At Femern Link Contractors (FLC), we are responsible for designing and constructing the immersed tunnel, portals and ramps on both ends of the tunnel, in Rødbyhavn and Puttgarden.
We are also building the facilities for prefabricating tunnel elements as well as accommodation facilities, also known as the “Tunnel village” in Rødbyhavn, which provides housing for FLC workers.
About the department:
FLC’s Facility team plays a central role in supporting all project departments. We handle a wide range of tasks, including cleaning, coffee delivery, gardening, as well as repair and maintenance of buildings and equipment. We have a busy daily routine, but there is also room for a joke or an informal chat. Every Friday, we wrap up the week with a cozy status meeting over a cup of coffee.
The Facility department consists of a dedicated team of permanent staff and trainees, including service assistants, stewards, and facility staff. We work closely across different professional groups, where flexibility is key to solving our daily tasks.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
As a Property Service Technician, you will have a varied and exciting workday with both routine and ad hoc tasks. Your responsibilities will include:
Lawn mowing and maintenance of green areas
Minor repairs and practical tasks
Transport and delivery of goods
Various ad hoc tasks related to facility management
Minor carpentry, painting, and installation tasks in offices and staff buildings
Installation of whiteboards, shelves, signage, and dispensers
Assembly of furniture and preparation of rental housing
Troubleshooting and minor repairs of doors, locks, windows, and fixtures
Qualifications:
We are looking for a reliable and responsible individual who thrives in a dynamic work environment with a variety of challenges. You work in a structured manner, maintain an overview in busy situations, and complete tasks independently. You enjoy routine tasks but can quickly adapt when plans change.
As the construction site is dynamic, you should be prepared for periods of high pace and tight deadlines. Most importantly, we value that you are positive, engaged, and contribute to a great working environment where humor and a good attitude play an important role.
Your qualifications
Relevant education within a trade or service field is an advantage, but not required – training will be provided
Good physical condition, as the job can be physically demanding
Strong focus on safety (Safety First) in the workplace
Valid driver’s license (Category B – standard car) is required
Forklift certificate is an advantage
Proactive and solution-oriented mindset
English at a user level (written skills are not required but are an advantage)
Flexible and a true team player
Experience in service work, craftsmanship, or facility management is an advantage, but not required
Ability to communicate in English in daily work, as our team and users are international
Conditions:

The FLC staff is expected to set themselves targets, achieve them independently, and take responsibility for their actions – irrespective of their position in the company.
